DIY

Did anyone by chance see the fabulous Pottery Barn Sandbox that they had for sale a couple a years ago? Loved it...price? Ugh, Even if your lucky enough to snatch one up on clearance your still looking at $350! So let's make it! I found a great tutorial where they did a Knock-off for $65!! Now that I love! Maybe I'll make one for my Yorkies :)

It is a beautiful Summer day in Michigan today. And as always busy, busy. As most homes there's always something to do around the Beehive! But luckily I did manage to squeeze in a little diy project around the yard. I had a portion on our privacy fence that needed a little pizaz. I found these great jars, added some sand, shells & candles. Walah! How does it look?!

I recently went on a trip to San Jose Del Cabo. It was the first time I've ever been to Mexico....and for anyone who has never been, it so beautiful. Oh how I wish I could grow a palm tree in my yard! It gave me so much inspiration.....especially for re-doing my outside landscape. But that will have to wait for another blog, another time :).

Today's inspiration....good ol' sand and lantern jars!

This was the look I was going for...
